This the damn question ive been trying to answer for months now. Im thinking about getting the Inner circle ecu rom phase2motortrend.com if you havent seen it yet INNER CIRCLE (http://www.store.yahoo.com/phase2motorsports/inciecuromtu.html)
Also I dont want to do any bottom end work at all im not interested in that right now....just basically upgrades for turbo, ecu,....I already have Tomei 555cc injectors
I need serious feedback here fellas

GT25R. No need for another manifold which saves cash. Can make about 420hp max, so getting 350RWHP would be easy. Turbo spools VERY fast and feels VERY strong pulls WELL past redling unlike the T28. 550's should get you to 350RWHP w/ the GT25R. Just need some tuning. Search on Fresh Alloy. This subject has been covered MANY times. Check out this graph on a car that still needs a little further tuning:

$499!!! Isn't that the same price as JWT? It is from phase2, so it should be a good product (should be, right?) Comparing to JWT, i think this inner circle takes shorter time to get your ecu back and it offers two chips that you can switch around. Try it and let us know. Oh, SR bottom end is strong. Change to a thicker gasket should be enough. Good luck and let us know about this thing.

lol, why would some one waste 500$ on a ecu, when you can have and e-manage for 400$ or a power fc for 900?

cheapest way to 300hp? 100 shot of nitrous.

I was trying to come up with a cheaper way but, yah nightwalker has the cheapest way by choosing 100shot nitrous. (ps: get dry shot to be the cheapest of the cheap)

Who the fuck is Inner Circle?
Seriously though, just looking at what they have (2 "stages," both of which are used in conjunction with the stock T25) should cause you to look elsewhere. Their maps are nowhere near the output you're looking for. Plus, personally, I would not want to be the guinea pig while they are "developing more mappings" for our cars.
I'd recommend you to check out JWT and Secret Services (who now does mailed ECUs as well) instead.
GT25R sounds good to me too. :coold:
Nightwalker: don't you mean NAAWWWWWSSS BIAATCH!!!!!1!? :D You ricer. ;)

Thicker head gasket? No. The stock one is fine, it's metal, and it's good for over 400 hp. Don't spread rumors.

I didn't say a thicker HG is a must. "Should" is the word i went with. Making 400hp requires high boost, i would personally put a thicker HG (in fact, i'm about to.) As for the "rumors," I wouldn't call it a rumor since many people have done so. A rumor in this case would be that only a hand full of people has gone with a thicker HG while making that kind of horsepower. A theory would be a better word as this theory of my has not been proven 100% true, but has not also been denied neither.

easiest way? Stock DET with FMIC, DP, exhaust.. and a 100shot. ;)

I thought the gt25r was like a T2/T4. I've heard they have spool up problems and they break easy. A buddy of mine had one on his redtop and said it was nice for a short time, but something messed up and he started losing to vtec tegras and whatnot.

While we're on the subject of 300+HP, I've been doing a lot of research on the Big28 upgrade. can i get some opinions?

big 28 not heard too many complaints its a good upgrade. Im about to put something similar onto mine :)

sure, nitrous is the cheapest way to go.... but, if you do go Nitrous, PLEASE USE A WET SYSTEM. Dry Nitrous is just too finiky.
I know too many people who have decided to stay off nitrous for good, just because of the problems you can have with it. Sure, it is great. But, its not a matter of "IF" you have a nitrous backfire / explosion, but "WHEN". Its not a matter of "IF" you burn a piston, but "WHEN".
Anyway, back on subject, why not go with an e-manage or something? A flashed ECU is only good with the parts you have; once you do any more upgrading, you have to get another flash. I'd rather have something I can tune.

Okay no nitrous
I have been looking into the gt25r turbo and also the iconbb3037, and icon bb3037R found on jgycustoms.com. I friend off mine has the heavythrottle big t28 setup but i have not seen it in actions yet
I agree with you JasonNagra so far about the gt25r. but somebody told me that the gt25r would not be efficient. That comment came from by friend who has a b13 with a gtir motor in it...what do you guys think about this efficiency sh*t as im not really understanding what my friend is getting at.

I have a apex metal head gasket already
I kinda disagree about the strong bottom end thing as i have spun bearings already in my motor once. But other than the bearings the bottom is pretty good

The gt25 is an overkill for 250hp, if thats what you are going for, pick a smaller turbo. the gt25r is rated at 440hp and has am max of 500hp, so unless your frend is 480hp+ then this turbo is not going to be unificient. There is a good chance your friend was talking about the smaller gt25r that maxes out a 350hp.

Ruthless,
Whoever told you that is not being very truthful. Get a ride in a GT25R and look at dyno graphs like the ones i posted. Then tell me if its not efficient. The GT25R sounds like its EXACTLY what you're looking for.

There seems to be some consensus about the gt25r thing.
Im most def also interested in the hks gt2835 and gt3037 but there a bit pricey
