Fully built d16z6. ZEX turbo cam, forged internals, built head that revs out to 8500 rpms. Exhaust has a borla muffler and sounds great. Ready to handle 25 psi of boost reliably. Just waiting on a turbo.....
Just had over $2k of work done over the past summer by JE Import Performance to fix all of the previous gremlins. I have the diagnosis and repair bills.
-entire engine WIRING was REDONE AND TUCKED!
-new valve cover gasket
-new spark plug hole seals
-new clutch cable
-new hood latch
-new o2 sensor
-new pcv valve
-new breather tank and hose
-new crank pulley
-new front main seal
Suspension is completely replaced and ready for the track.
Don't bother thinking about this car if you can't drive with a heavy clutch or think its too much trouble in traffic :cry:
The interior can be stripped in a matter of 1 hour if you prefer that. Without the interior it weighs close to 1800 lbs.
ENGINE
-ZEX 59300 cam
-forged weisco pistons
-eagle h beam rods
-ARP rod bolts and headstuds
-ported and polished head
-comp springs and retainers, revs to 8500, this tune only makes power to 7900 though you can always retune
-62mm throttle body
-75.5mm bore
~9-10:1 compression
-block tapped right above the stock oil filter
-oil pan is tapped and plugged
-b&m command flow fpr
-ACT 6puck clutch
-new distributor
-new see-through cap and rotor from summit, (you can tell if the distributor is working just by watching each of the sparks as it fires)
-new 421 header thats been coated and wrapped like a month ago
-2.5" to 3" catback exhaust with a resonator to replace the cat and a borla muffler. See below for a video of the exhaust sound.
SUSPENSION/BRAKES
-Disc brake conversion on all 4 wheels
-Brembo drilled rotors
-hawk hps pads
-Beaks subframe lower tie bar
-omnipower rear lower control arms
-skunk 2 front upper control arms (Camber adjustment)
-adjustable rear camber and toe arms
-new wheel bearings
-new drivers side axle
-powdercoated the front knuckles and control arms
-JDM LSD
-rebuilt 88 si Tranny
-all bearings replaced with honda oem
-nuespeed race springs
-koni yellow shocks
-whole car has new polyurethane bushings
-nuespeed strut tower bar
-ECU has been converted to OBD1 and is setup for EP rom chips, currently crome pro basemap tune made by the PO
Body
-VIS Carbon Fiber hood (cut to fit top mount turbo setup)
-Carbon Fiber Sunroof (Functional and no leaks)
-OEM mudflaps
-Buddy Club lightweight wheels
-Nitto Nt450 tires
-There is no rust on the frame. One small surface rust spot on the rear fender, I will have to show you because you probably wont notice.
-Car was repainted 2 years ago stock color. Engine bay as well.
-The underside of the car was resprayed with that rubber protective coating at the same time. See pictures below
Music
-Has a pioneer aftermarket radio with a cord to connect to an ipod
-has 4 sony speakers, no idea what model
-has the wiring to put in a sub that has been uplugged for now
Extra parts:
-I still have the bumper with the hole for the intercooler in it, but currently a nice JDM bumper is on the car
-hx turbo manifold
-3 stock wheels with good tires, have the honda centercaps as well
-spare passengers side axle
-spare new brake pads for front and rear
-stock radiator support and radiator top bracket
-full interior with the crx door panels, si seats, hatch pieces and security box.

Only difference is that this new build has better engine internals and no turbo. Also 26" slicks, but besides that the suspension and everything else is the same
