As the title says. long story straight. I have a 96 S14 with 200K clean as fawk but the motor was super tired so I SR'd it. Now considering a sale but not all know about the Ob issues with my current setup so to avoid I'm thinking of slapping another KA in it and calling it a day as i still have my original ECU and harness wasn't hacked. So can I use any KA24de before 96 with my 96 ECU?

Thanks in advance....

pretty sure the 96-98 Ka's are all the same. And the 95 would be OBD1. But perhaps the 95 could go into your car. It seems to be wired as an OBD2 but operates as an OBD1

That's my main question. Whether or not i can use an older KA. My understanding is it is all within the ECU itself. If this is correct then i should be golden with any ole RWD Ka.

So yeah if anyone has a 95-98 240 Ka pm me lol..
