Z32 brake swap problems

So I just got everything back together on the car and started it up. Car is automatic so I put it in drive and the car doesnt move forward like normal (almost like the e-brakes are on). I pull up the ebrake handle and it just pulls all the way up like there is no tension on it. Bled the brakes last night as well but came out today and the pedal has no pressure till after like 4-6 pumps.

You eithwr have a leak or air in the lines.

Also your car not moving may not be the brakes problem.

have you tried jacking up the car and turning the whee
ls by hand to see if the brakes are holding it?

Well went out to the car and it is definitely the rear brakes seems like the e-brake is engaged but the handle has no tension and I tried adjusting the handle again still nothing.

If you have z32 rears The handle should be the last thing you adjust, adjust the ebrake shoes at the e brake assembly itself first.

Adjust the adjusted latch through the access port on the rear rotors.

Adjust it all the way out (so it fully seats and makes contact with the rotor) then back it out 5 clicks and you should be good and the e brake should feel just right

^^^THIS!!! Just make sure you loosen the adjustment in the e-brake handle before you do this. Do the latch adjustment at the rotor, then do the 5 clicks back, then adjust at the handle if you want it to be tighter.

have you made sure that the transmission has fluid in it?

Gotta bring this one back up..... So i go out tonight and pull the rotors off and looks like the e-brakes were not engaged...at all. I look at the back of the rotors and there are grooves all around the backs of my new rotors. Everything is new (brembo rotors, hawk pads) it looks like the back pad was making contact with the rear of the rotor for some reason.

Did you check if the pistons are stuck?

Actually I figured this one out this morning..... I didn't notice it before because I was working on the car at night but the bolts that hold down the calipers are way to long. So when I tightened down the calipers the bolt went through and was making contact with the rotors. Quick trip to home depot solved this one. Got the brakes bled and got it back on the road. Oh yeah btw Ray seen your car around base very nice. Also met up with Michael today too.
