Just testing waters to see if there are any serious offers or interest on my 93 deuce, I know its a zilvia website but we are all car lovers so show some love.

Specs:
RARE 93 Smg Turbo Original
T-top no leaks
Clean title, no accidents
53,xxx original miles and counting, its my weekend car.
I have original paper work (ie: sales contract, service history etc.)
unmodified, unmolested stock car.

Mods:
hks turbo timer
hks blow off valve

Cons:
Has a dent passenger side fender, some jerk with a truck backed out on my car(needs to be replace).
pics of dmg fender will be added later.

Its not really pristine. It got backed into, it says it in the ad.

And it is cool to see a low mile one, but no one is going to pay 12000 for a stock mr2 with 13 miles on it, never mid 53000.

yea may need a new fender, but not big of a deal. may lower the price a tad. but imo worth the 10 grand. these cars are so rare and you'll never find one in this condition

lots of 20 year old cars are rare nowadays...it doesnt make their value increase by more than double nada. i understand that its a cool/neat car....i just dont see the value in it. maybe a collector would, but then it will need those dents fixed.

very true!! but you always see 240s on the streets, or civics, accords, u rarely see mr2s, rx7s, supras. but none the less it doesn't double their value, i agree. but you know how it is, rarity causes a price increase, as well as rarity in condition.

Guys its a Stock unmolested garage queen MR2 TURBO on the rarest color. you don't see this cars now a days in this clean condition.
a used fender will run you $80-$135
to pop the dent by a pro will run $150
those things are not really a big deal, im trying to keep the car as original as possible so I leave all the cons that the cars has, its up to the new owner to repair it or fix it. Price is at best offer but like I said im Testing Waters, if someone is interested then good, if not its ok as well.
how many mr2 t-top turbos have you seen unmolested with low mileage.
pics are a couple of months old, I drive the car twice a week (sat-sun)

I rather keep the car if I don't get near my asking price, drive it till it gets 100+miles then sell it for what everyone is selling which is around $8-$10k
car is near mint with the exceptions on what was mentioned.
we can argue about what is rare, shit lets go with a dino Ferrari if you want but for the car that TW's on and from what u have seen in the street we all know that my car qualifies as rare.

Update of the fender damage, might be able to get it to pop out with out the paint getting damage. I actually mad it worst trying to pop it out with my UFC hammer fist. LOL

Just a heads up, I owned a SMG Turbo SW20 for 4 years, a '91 to be exact. The SMG is one of the rarest colors. It only came on turbo models and it was an option for an extra fee. Much like the pearl white on FR-Ss today.

Only 60 SMG cars were built in '93. It is the most sought after and rare color on this car, thats fact. I believe on MR2OC it was determind that a total of ~5XX were produced and sold in the US between the run of the SW20 from '91 to '95.

Im sure many would like to see an upclose pic of the dent though.

Thanks for stating that fact about the rarity of the car, it hard to find it now in excellent condition I believe what im asking for is a fair price, but everyone is entitled to their own opinions. I would have price the car more if it wasn't for the 2 dents on the car, its an easy fix but I currently don't have the cash nor does it bother me at the moment since its mostly my weekender. I do have 2 other cars to drive around I basically just bought it just cause I wanted to have it LOL, well the options of driving different Layouts in a weekly basis is good as well, keeps driving interesting.

FD's/FC's are fragile, lots ppl say they are built tough but its the only engine that I know that often needs to be re-builded all the time. I have seen/heard and known ppl that owned a rotary that was rebuilt at 43k-100k original miles. Gotta keep constant maintenance and baby the shit out of her

Rx7 are fragile? no they aren't fragile at all i've owned lots of rx7's and I always beat the piss out of them and I've never had to rebuild a single one! 2 turbo2 and 2 na, beat the shit out of all of them constantly and never had any problem. just check your oil and your good, my fc let go of the oil seals at 180k and it still ran fine! smoked when it was cold but once warmed up it was perfectly fine! still beat the shit out of it drifting it and redlining the holy hell out of it. that 13b took more abuse than a sr20 or any nissan 4 banger could ever take, i wouldn't even think about beating on a piston engine the way i beat on that rotary

4g63,sr20,ka24,3sgte and pretty much any other 4 cylinder from any company other than honda has a fuck load more torque than a s2000
