Wanting a 240

I had a 90 240sx, and I sold it.  I had replaced the engine in it with a rebuilt one from Advanced Auto parts.. The reason I sold it was because I want one with the KA24DET, and a MANUAL  (I couldn't stand it anymore when my girlfriend beat my Auto 240 with her 96' Saturn SC2 5-speed - and it was blowing black smoke out the ass the whole way!)

Does anybody know anyone in or around Charlotte NC with a 240 For Sale? &nbsp;looking for one from 91' to 93' &nbsp;or if I could find one for the right price a 97'-98' &nbsp;Any help is appreciated! <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> &nbsp;with decent miles on it if possible

i live like 5 hours away from charlotte n i had to drive 3 hours to get my 240. autotrader has some 91-93's if u select w/in 200 miles, but there's mostly 94 convertible ones listed.

OK.. &nbsp;So I found a car on Cars.com &nbsp;its a 97 se with 50,000 miles.. 5-speed, sunroof, pw,pdl,ps, etc.. &nbsp;I'm getting the lady to send me some pics.

What do you guys think a good price would be??

probably depends if it's from a dealer or a private owner.

Its a dealer. &nbsp;She said its been on the lot since early november.. &nbsp;the have it listed for 11,995, but she indicated that was VERY negotiable. &nbsp;I guess we'll see how good my negotiatiing skills are. &nbsp;I'm shootin for 9,500. &nbsp;I'll let you guys know how it turns out.

does it have abs and lsd? any mods like tinting, sound, power, suspension or is it stock? What color is it? Leather interior? Hope you can get it, would be a sweet ride...I love 97-98 headlights. BTW, I payed $10.2k for my '96 with 43,000 miles SE all options (abs, lsd, leather, power stuff, ect) from a private owner. So from a dealer you prolly can't get 9.5 but i'd sure try anyway. Let us know what happens.

It's Green, SE - so I think that means cloth right?,

I gotta find out about the abs and lsd. &nbsp;I think everything else is stock though.

REALLY hope it has at least LSD (praying) &nbsp;I'll probably buy it even if it doesn't though. &nbsp;Wats the likely hood that it will? &nbsp;can you tell from the vin #?

SE means leather seats. as far as LSD thats an option to the person who buys the new car, so thats all a tossup. i believe there should be a yellow label on the differential that says VLSD underneith the car, not sure. go check on http://www.240sx.org in the installs section under LSD install, there should be a guide to identifying them. maybe better not to tip off the dealer what you're looking for, because this would indicate to them that the car is worth more, if they dont already know its on there

Leather is kinda hot in the summer and slippery under hard cornering but the chicks dig it! &nbsp;I love my leather <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

Yup...you've got to bargain hard with them car dealer. &nbsp;They were charging me $15999 for my 97 240sx with &nbsp;15,000 miles. &nbsp;I got it down to $12100. :cool:

now would be better than ever to bargain at the dealer w/ the way the economy is right now. i've never seen ppl get like 3-4k off of cars from the dealers around here before, they just wanna get rid of 'em.
