So i hide my craftsman tool box set that i just bought my self this Christmas in my car and my expensive welding supply's. So when ever I'm at school or go out my brother can get it my car somehow and his friends s13 key fits and turns on my car. i lock my car and my stuff but they always get in and get my stuff .. what can i do to prevent them from getting in my car. i want to get an alarm but i know if i get an alarm they'll still get in and just disconnect the negative battery cable to stop the ringing. Whats a way/affordable that i can do to prevent from getting into my car. Ive told them before not to get in my car but im going snowboarding with my gf this weekend and i know they'll be getting in my car when im not there and maybe even joy riding on my gas.... what can i do !

Sell 240 and buy Q45, its just like a 240 except Nissan added 2 doors, 4 more cylinders, lighter engine, longer and wider wheelbase and stronger chassis for better handling. Plus you can get Q45's cheaper then 240's these days. Y33 sell for around 2-3k very nice condition. Come factory vLSD, so they drift from factory.

Get an alarm, slap 3 fucking mini piezo in the cabin and a couple more inside the the engine bay. I bet you they wont ever come near that car again and you'd probably have to speak a little louder when you talk to them afterwards.

Get a few big rat traps.. arm them, put them in your seat and gently lay a towel on top. Soon as they put their hand or ass on the seat to grab your tools.. they will regret it greatly.

A decent wheel lock will prevent them from driving the car its not like they will waste their time or damage your car to cut it off. I also agree with the rat trap idea also. You can also get ne w locks that arent worn out.

Honestly, this is self explanatory. If its a domestic issue then tell your momma! If that doesn't work remove your valuables from the car. For a simple mod for security get a QR and take your steering wheel.

1.add a kill switch to prevent the car turning on.
2. disconnecting the negative on a battery doesnt mean the alarm de-activates, usually just the horn/siren stops making noise, but you still cant turn the vehicle back on.
3.Solex locks: not sure if they finally made them for the 240sx, but reading an old zilvia post about Solex locks, it might prevent them from opening the door with the key but not from slim jimming it.I dont think they would probably jimmy it.so this might work for you.

I think you should definantly either way, just get an alarm .....most places is $200/MAX installed for the one with the little remote that notifies you if the door was opened, the trunk was opened, etc ,and why not? its better than NOTHING!!then a kill switch for added security.

That will stop them from joy riding, but for your tools???? maybe the Solex locks will help since they should not be able to enter the car with a old 240sx key, so just tell them to stop.
