whats the most cost effective way to get the extra lugnut so you can put mustang/starion/ dsm/ z32 wheels on a s13? im not doing brakes rightnow, just want the extra stud so i can putsome wider wheels on the back ... what are all the possible ways to do this and what are the cheapest..

the best way is wait for a groupbuy. I saw one going for 350$ for the fronts including spindles and calipers (rotors, i dunno??) CPARKPOWERTRIX always has some nice stuff going on.
"Cheap" and "conversion" never go together.

or go to local junkyards and find a wrecked S14. I got a complete swap with brakes, rims, and brand new tires for $225.00 I had to pull it myself but who cares.

uh, that was a correct response... it might not be the most cost effective way, but it's certainly the easiest way.

Here's a link to some that Sam sells:

id rather wait on the junkyard car i find with what i need....i just personallyl cant justify spending 400 bux on a set of hubs for the front and rear.

for future reference what do i need off an s14 se to do this?

why wont my j30t idea work?

Actually, what Nightwalker meant by bolt-on spacers is... bolt-on spacers, that also serve as wheel adapters.
As seen here (http://www.technotoytuning.com/t3_site_pages/products/wheel_adapters.html).

thanks Salty. Yep, that's the cheapest way. With those you can buy all the HOnda rims you want and not have to worry about offsets.

you posted those 400$ gto front hubs, they posted some 180$ wheel spacers, which i think are kinda cool/is that ghetto? are those spacers safe? those are kind cool looking but teh fact of the matter is im still stuck with 4 lug hub therefore big brakes arent really available at a good price for those otehr than the 300zx calipers, will those work with that? that just seems kinda ghetto...also if it makes the offset for use of honduh wheels that kind defeats the purpose, they dont make 8/9" wide rims for honduhs........i was looking at using starion or poopra wheels or aftermarket mustang wheels.

does anyone know if the backspacing on a fox body is similar to a 240sx as far as aftermarket wider wheels, i foudna huge blowout on centerline wheels in the 4x114 for fox bodys, tey are kinda light and the sizes really leave a lotta choices.

Replacing the entire front hub VS. bolting something on to the existing hub... :loco:
No, they're not the same.

Are the spacers a "ghetto" mod? Yeah, kind of. But you wanted to know the cheapest way to convert, and Nightwalker told you. The problem with going the cheapest route is the required shortcuts you need to take to do it so cheaply. The spacer is going to push the wheels out a lot, which isn't too bad since most factory wheels are inherently high offset, but they'll still stick out most likely unless you roll/pull the fenders. You can still do Z brakes though, just drill them to 4-lug like the rest of us with 4-lug do.

Not sure about the foxbody wheels... post a link.

i dont want jdm wheels b/c they are expensive . the car im getting is kinda dinged up so i was just gonan put a fiberglass widebody things on there for wider wheels adn tires anywyas. is the bolt thing safe for say cornering a banked turn at a speedway with 300whp and 10" wide r compounds?

Yea, I would also like to know about those 5lug adapters, Id throw some 7 wheels on their, they are 16x8 with a 50 offset I think, which would work good with those spacers :-D
