I just recieved my package today. I wish i could have bought more stuff but i just spent 900 bucks on my Tomei Lsd. But i'm very excited anyways.. the best piece is the pro ruca cause i dont like negative rear camber so my car sits very high in the rear right now. Can't wait to fix the water pump and install this stuff. also got the Nismo Power brace not pictured. I bought the t/c rods to adjust caster with but i dont really know what a good starting point is. My car has 5.5 degrees positive caster right now...i figure i will go to 7.5 degrees and see how that feels.

did you get a 2way?

yes sir. Tomei Technical Trax Advanced 2-way limited slip differential. Built by Kaaz with 2 extra shims for a more agressive initial lockup so i've been told.

Westborough: negative camber is good, positive camber is bad.

Negative camber in the rear sucks. I want to get it down to one degree negative in the rear. I got 2 degrees negative in the front. If i lower the rear end with no adjustments, the camber goes to like 3 or 4 degrees some ridiculous understeer happens.

hehehe, you'll start to like negative camber when you start doing touge/drifting.

Var

i already do touge, but not drifting. The car seems to like understeering but this is before the LSD. The lsd gives it a neutral feel as long as you're on throttle. So i'd like to lower the rear and keep the camber @ about 1 degree, 1.5 max. Nightwalker what are your specs in the rear? o also i got adjustable sway bars set on stiff in the rear, soft in the front.

you do realize the stock rear camber settings is around -1.5 right?
with -1 degree in rear, you've just gained camber which is really unwanted when cornering....

You guys just dont get it do you? I already have around 1 or 1.5 degrees camber in ther rear, and it feels good. The only problem is the rear end of the car is too high and if o lower it the camber will be more than 3 degrees. I will lowered the rear and then adjust the camber back to where it is now(where it feels good)

i didnt know what a HUGE difference toe made until 2 days ago. The alignment shop fudged up on my hachi so the specs were .09 positive toe on both sides...i took it back and they made it .09 negative on both sides and the car stopped understeering alltogether. It turns and keeps turning as long as you're on the gas. If my 240 ever becomes a straight track car, i will run more toe out for sure in the front. I havent started messing with the rear settings yet.

Usually this is good for road racing too. All depends on driver's style, but in general, most prefer to run this way.

Well, I prefer HICAS. ;) Toe sometimes out, toe sometimes in, sometimes in then out then back in again...

And you've got no control over it whatsoever! haha

(no wonder there are so many "HICAS-killer" kits available...)
