That S-14 looks more orange than yellow, I like it though
Here's a yellow rendition of the same picture with some body mods:

Like it?
It's not slammed, I made the best I could to imitate the JDM Zilvia Kouki wing (I Have one!), modified the front and rear bumpers to make them extend lower than usual, to match the side skirts and I also removed the middle section on the front, you know, for the intercooler <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>
P.S. And gave the wheels a "gunmetal" look.

Okay guys....I've been chopping for a while, but the one skill that eludes me is changing a car's color. I can do it, but I can't get the clean cut lines like you guys get. The color always bleeds over in places and doesn't always follow the body lines so well. I use the wand to select 'pockets' of the body and then change the color. How do you do it so well??

Yeah, it's supposed to sit much higher, but I hand made that one, I couldn't make it higher and make it look real, otherwise I've done it.
I got mine from Jspec.com (http://www.jspec.com), e-mail sam
[email protected] and ask him if he's importing any more, mine was the last and I waited like 3 months for it.
Good luck <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>
If not, I have the stock one, I'll sell it to you if you want it.

I had the same problem and I would get pissed 'cause I couldn't do it. Believe it or not, you don't use the wand nor the paint bucket, you do it with quick mask mode. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>
Do a search, there was a thread here on Zilvia.net with a link to the detailed instructions.

I've played around in Photoshop quite a bit. I use different techniques for changing colors. You can do anything from using lassos to select the car's body pieces one by one and adjusting colors/hues/contrast/brightness/etc. Filter's such as ChromaColor are also good. You can also use Image/Adjust/Selective Colors on some. You just have to play around with it for awhile to learn when you can use particular techniques. The last one I mentioned is what I used on these two, which I got done in about 20 min for both. That's the easiest way to do it, but you can only use it in particular cases. A red car is the easiest to start with because red holds light reflective properties better than most other colors. By the way...the Yellow on my S14 at the top of this post is supposed to be a sort of orangish/yellow. Like Porsche's yellow, or perhaps the Millenium Yellow on the C5's. It's also easiest to change the color of a car that is from a professional photograph, not just a digital camera image or 35mm film. If you have anything you'd like to see, just lemme know and I'll see what I can tear out. Just don't make any crazy ass requests...I do have to go to school ya know!

This was done with the Image/Adjust/Selective Colors method...Original is the red one:
