Where is the thread for the s14 power window switch fix. I have heard of people switching theirs out for a 97-98 power window switch or am I wrong? I can't find a working one any where and I miss having my window down. My search wouldn't work so if anyone has any insight or a link to that, please send it to me.

Take the amp out and open it up.
Youll see some solders that arent complete, just resolder everything and youll be fine.
Thats how I fixed mine.
There are walkthroughs online, just google it.

i used an s13 amp, it doesn't mount the same way as the s14, but it works perfect

Ok yeah at the moment my search on the forums was not working. I would like to make it as clean looking as possible. I don't know if soldiering it would work because the switch itself is broken. I heard the 97-98 s14 window switches were more reliable and that people were rewiring their 95-96 ones to that.

97/98 are better switches but the problem is the architecture/design/wiring is completely different to 95 and 96s. Hell, even 95 and 96 switches and wiring are different from each other.

That's just about what I figured. So would I be better of than just finding a 95 switch you think and just keep buying new ones? Or would it be worth it to find a 96-98 switch and swap them out somehow?
