Finally got a chance to dyno the car.. She made 440hp on a mustang dyno at 21psi, that's close to 500hp dynojet numbers! Will be back next week with a e85 tune :)

Great numbers!
She made 440hp on a mustang dyno at 21psi, that's close to 520hp dynojet numbers!
But I call bullshit on this assumption, how do you figure?

Thanks! Dynojet numbers usually read higher than mustang dyno, using a standard 1.21 correction factor will give you that number, is just estimates of course, regardless if you use 1.01 or 1.21 correction factors it puts it very close to 500hp, is just simple math.
I'm more worry about the power curve than anything and I can tell you the car feels unreal throughout the powerband.

Great job! I miss mine as well. Haven't ever had another car that made me nervous when I ripped it. My Ka-t made 404whp and 382wtq @20 psi on pump gas and I never got to dyno it on E85 but It felt a hell of alot faster on the corn. And it sounded and smelt cool too. Make sure to post up your E85 results in this thread.

great numbers think with more timing+boost you'll hit 500whp on pump?
what injector?

Yea we could have push it a bit further to hit the magic 500 on pump, however didn't want to as the car runs great at this power level.
We currently have 1050cc Fuel Injector Clinic injectors but will be upgrading to 1600 or 1800 to handle E85, we where seeing duty cycle @ 50%.

Thanks! What injectors did you have? Pump? I currently run the new Walbro 400 pump, seems to be having no issues keeping up.

Hate to break your heart, but DynoJets don't read *that* much higher (nor different) than Mustang Dynos. Having operated both, I can assure you that some turbo cars dyno LESS on a dynojet than a mustang dyno due to no load on the turbo. We've even had cars dyno on the same day between our local Mustangdyno and Dynojet, to see a 10whp difference...not enough to even make me consider a difference.
With that said, can't wait to see you crank the boost on this thing and make some power. A 6262 is a very capable turbo.

I had just a walbro 255 and Nismo 740's. Using a wideband setup for gas afr's I ran 12.3 afr in full boost on E85. Injector duty cycles were around 90% with the 740cc at 3 bar fuel pressure. I never went above 15 psi on E85. I added 4 to 5 degrees of timing tuning via Nistune. I switched to E85 during the summer to cope with the heat down here in Texas. If you ever swap back and forth from 93 to e85 or vice versa make sure to drain or pump every bit of the fuel out or else your tune will not be setup for a mixture of the 2 fuels. I have moved on to tuning my ls1 240sx with hptuners now and will soon be turboing it.
