smog stuff: NOX

what can throw off my nox readings during smog?? would me removing my boost guage and just leaving the hose there throw it off>? because it would be like a vac leak?? i need some answers! thanks

ya because there is more air coming in after the MAF that the ECU can't compensate for. the car will run lean cause there is extra air coming in and lean mixtures increase NOX.

so i guess i should put my boost guage back on till i get the hose T'ed off.. hope that is what is causing it cause i dont wanna get a new cat =P anyone have any other ideas? or does the one i mention seem like the prob
