I'm looking at getting Corbeau FX1 Pro seats for my S13 because they're affordable and side-mounted. I really don't want them to be too high though. Does anyone know of a good low side-mount bracket that would fit an S13?

Actually, my biggest problem will actually be getting to the pedals (5'10"). How far back will a side mount seat sit?

Here's what I'm looking at getting:

Seat (http://www.apexperformance.net/prod-1027.htm)

Bracket (http://www.amazon.com/Driver-Seat-Bracket-1989-1998-SB050LOWDR/dp/B00866HFDA)

small questions thread would have been a better choice instead of making a new topic

Watch out for side mount brackets. Some of them put the seat stupid low, not a bad thing unless you're 5'10". I'm also 5'10" and I can't drive any of my friend's cars with side mounted seats because I can't see over the cluster or reach the pedals.

My car came with some cheap seats just like these (http://www.amazon.com/Recaro-Style-Racing-Seats-Stitches/dp/B008V5PFJ2/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1357363129&sr=8-4&keywords=recaro+style+seats&tag=68656c7064757-20) which were bottom mount seats. Even with my small-ness (Hell I only weigh 135 pounds) my head was through the sunroof. (lol)

That's why I figured side mount would be best. Plus, I just realized I could make my own mounts at whatever height I want, for next to nothing since I know how to weld.

But, we'll see, I guess!

Buddyclub makes adjustable side mounted seat mounts. I got them, they fit quite nice. Bear in mind you cant get any lower than OEM without bashing the floor and the transmission tunnel though, so any "ultra low racing seat rail" actually means "oem height".

Which is good, because any other height will put your head in the roof.
