CS doesn't require a CD key. HL does. If you need one, go to best buy, drop $20 and buy a new copy of HL.

Yeah, CS took over my life for a while, it has been quite a while since I played it. I graduated from High school early and played that game like 15 hours a day for 3 months, and I have dialup...I am hardcore haha. D.O.D is badass too. Nothing can beat the original doom in my opinion that was a great game, and things like IDKFA, IDDQD, IDBEHOLD, Etc. will be burned into my memory forever.

gyea bc of the new steam it requires a brand new cd key that it will store to ur email addy.. so its a bitch to get a used one and cd key gen wont do $hit... better off buyin a cd key @ a store or better yet steal it...hahaha

oro. check the bargain bin at your local videogame store. i saw new in the box old hl/cs combos going for 8 bucks. (maybe its more expensive out west?) don't buy a cd-key off ebay... it sucks when you get the boot b/c someone else is playing on your key. just buy a new copy.

agreed. iuno if you are into competetion play.. but most people that get banned from CAL and what not sell those cd keys// because they can no longer use it.. (because its a dirty key!)

call of duty is pretty cool, i tried the demo. but CS is still the best FPS, because of its gameplay. i dont think it can be topped. imho.
