ok. posting it back up. i have someone interested but it is still open to whoever wants it first.

1989 240sx SE hatchback
white, but chipping in some parts
5spd, shifts solid
167k on stock KA but pulls hard
salvage title,
new(er) brakes on all 4, less than 1000miles
recent tune up, less than 1000 miles
interior is in good condition except cracks on the dash

the car has minor body damage where i scraped a rail along the passenger side
the engine idles high and bogs occasionally, but i expect to have this fixed before i sell, in attempts of fixing, i have replaced the fuel filter and sparkplugs... the tb was also cleaned recently..

i need cash to finish another project, but im not desperate for it
asking 1200 obo.. need to cover the money i put into the brakes and etc.
open to trades for a clean shell possibly

what was the salvage title for? and does the car have any rust?

when i carfaxed it.. all it said was that it was in a junkyard at one point.. or something to that effect. it did say that it was never reported to be in a major accident ...i also remember that it said that it has never failed smog or had frame damage ..cant really say much more than that. sorry its so vague, my friend read it off to me a long time ago... youre more than welcome to run the carfax on the vin. pm me for it.. there is no rust on the vehicle that i have seen.

ok.. traced the problem to my cat.. i should have a new one in soon.

ok. i really don't have time for this car anymore. the car runs.. but you need to replace the cat for it to pass smog. don't have time to fix this.. whoever wants it for 1000.. come and take it.

haha you know id buy it if you smoged sux you dont have time man....hopefully ill have my 240 soon

haha.. wat the hell... ya i still have the car.. and if anybody was wondering... its still running. and driven daily.. ill sell it as soon as i get my new car.. when financial aid comes in..
