RS-Enthalpy ecu, just an ecu with an eprom?

Is an RS-Enthalpy ecu the same as if you just soldered in your own daughter board with eprom and used a program via consult to send and save a tune? Minus of course their experience and what not. Or is there something different about it that I just don't realize?

its a reflash. like every other reflashed ecu. most use a daughter board and eprom.

You're in Tampa, you have an advantage over anybody else stateside. They can rom tune your car and tune it on a dyno. It'll be cheaper than any standalone and you have a full tune for your car that could be as good as any standalone.
