I have a small build thread on my local forum, but I figured I would show it off here too. This is my 1989 S13 coupe. I picked it up in 2009 for $1,000. It had a shitty auto KA that was running super rich and had an ugly wing on it.
This is car when I first got it. Really pretty clean... unfortunately I put it through hell.

I only had the car for a few months when I had a minor fender bender. At that point I had the idea to start modifying the car. I didn't like the pignose bumper at the time so I bought a chuki bumper cover and the JDM turn signals. My plans at the time were to paint the car black, lower it and have a VIP look.

I saved up enough money to buy a blacktop SR20 from Zerolift Autolab. It came on a pallet and looked to be extremely clean.
My friend let me work on the car at his shop for awhile.

Going along with the plan to paint the car black I had a friend spray the engine bay the blackest black I could find.

My next task was to install my exhaust, replace the fuel pump and start doing my 5 lug conversion. I had to cut the brake shields to fit the new rotors so I tried to do it cleanly.

I then pulled the intake off so I could run the new engine harness I got.

http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m54/3siphotos/imag0277.jpg
Sorry for the dark pictures... I was excited to start piecing together all these parts. Boxes were coming every week. I bought brand new parts to rebuild the Z32 calipers I had bought. I got all new brake lines, clutch master, brake master etc...
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m54/3siphotos/imag0290.jpg
Cut the brake pedal and rounded it off to match the other side. I plan on covering all my pedals in grip tape. Hopefully that works ok hahah :P
(The car was originally automatic)

After looking for weeks I decided on Weds Kranze Cerberus. This particular set is 18x9+19 and 18x10+13.

In October of 2012 I wrecked the car when somebody stopped short and I slid into them.

http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m54/3siphotos/IMAG0405.jpg
After a few weeks I managed to gather everything I needed to fix it... Went to bring it to work and start the process and BAM! Rod knock. The motor was toast, so I basically had a turd.
Should I continue to mess with it? Not for a few months f**k that car.
Fast forward
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m54/3siphotos/imagejpeg_3.jpg
Time to pull the motor

http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m54/3siphotos/130.jpg
I decide to start working on it again. I brought the car to work and pulled the bent core support out. Cutting the bent parts out and some of the aprons.
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m54/3siphotos/imagejpeg_2.jpg
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m54/3siphotos/179.jpg
Back on the grind. I got the new core support all cleaned up. I also removed anything that wasn't necessary and welded it in.

I did a lil grinding and got the tubs all ready for some seam sealer. I also did the mud work to finish everything and make it purdy.

In March my friends and I switched over most of the accessories to my new block. Unfortunately the coolant line for the turbo was stripped. I ordered a heli coil kit from the internet because I couldn't find a 14x1.5 kit around here. I'm still going to see if I can clean up the original threads, but at least I'll have that for a backup.
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m54/3siphotos/IMG_0823_zps2fe2514f.jpg
Since today was warm I decided to finally install my solid steering bushing. It wasn't too bad since I had the motor out. I dropped the cross member and then it slid out.

http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m54/3siphotos/IMG_1007_zpsede2695c.jpg
The old bushing was so beat up. Before the aluminum one I could turn my steering wheel almost 1/2" further even after full lock.

http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m54/3siphotos/IMG_1010_zpsc40a004c.jpg
I bought these sick Blitz gauges off the internet. The seller said they came with everything including sensors but showed up missing a lot. No sensors and 2/3 of the wiring. I finally tracked the missing parts down in Japan. Unfortunately they took like a month to arrive.
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m54/3siphotos/IMG_0881_zpse1793d15.jpg
I ordered a new oil pickup tube because I accidentally let the hoist lower onto the old one. I guess I didn't have the knob-thigie turned all the way. I also found a crack & stripped bolt in the upper oil pan so I replaced that too.

This block also had a stripped oil passage for the turbo. I hadn't ever done a heli-coil so that was a learning experience.
My friend Adam and I got the engine in and set it TDC so we could install the CAS.

It's almost all hooked up now except the radiator and FMIC. I also need to drill holes for the FMIC pipes.

My hole saw wasn't big enough for this side. I needed to make a hole though so I would know if I had to chop this side up as well. Unfortunately it's not as pretty, but I'll use a die grinder and clean it up.
I decided for now just to order a 45° coupler and see if it solves my problem. EDIT* It will work temporally. It looks ugly as sin and is super close to the radiator. But for now it will do.

Unfortunately for the past few months I didn't get to work on my car. However I'm back on it again and have made some progress.
Since I pulled the AC out of my car and welded up the holes, I no longer needed the evaporator. So I dropped the box it was in and gutted it. Then I reinstalled the box so all my other options would still work.
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m54/3siphotos/20131125_170633_zps00fae025.jpg
I still had to assemble the front end. I rolled my front fenders while I was doing the body work to them. When I put them back on I had distorted them a bit so I had to play with the fitment for awhile. This was also the first time I had put the front end together since I tubbed it and welded in the core support so I was a bit nervous. I'm happy with the gaps though. Everything looks 100.

At this point the car was almost ready to drive again. It still needed some electrical work completed and some stuff tidied up so I brought the car to Freed Engineering. If you don't know about them they work on some of the cleanest cars around here. You might have seen their 2J S14 or their FRS. I've also seen Matt Predmore's S15 up there this sick red 2J RX7 and a bunch of other nice cars I've seen in magazines etc.
On Friday I dropped off some fluid and snapped a couple pictures of the car.

Started collecting some aero pieces and getting the car ready for paint.
The first things to come in were OEM silvia sideskirts and some aftermarket valances.
