I have had this about 2 years now, needed work when I picked it up and I am about wrapped up with it. I am the second owner, I got the car in Colorado from a woman. I needed a clutch, as well as a number of general maintenance parts. Production numbers were 35x,000 celicas from 1990-1993, 26000 of them were 4WD turbo models (wide and narrow versions), 2500 were for North America 1746 were for the US which only 1605 were sold, the others were race team vehicles. My year is 1990 which is 1 of 806 imported that year of only 750 were sold. So it's 1 of 750 for 1990 and one of 1605 ever sold in the USA of that 1605 about half are left..I got the car with 83K it now has 85K. WORKING AC

Motor and trans were pulled, tore down, and put back together. And I am in the process of installing the JDM wide body front fenders and Carlos Sainz front bumper (800.00 alone). I just started working on the front end and need to get it painted to match.

Basically looking for other RWD trades or cash, it's an awesome car, but I want to see whats out there. This one is rare, it's rust free, with 84K and only 2 owners.

LOCATION IS Philadelphia PA will consider NICE S13's type x cars, RB swaps, and R32 with minimal cash on my end. No S14's unless they are clean and swapped. No projects at all. Scheduled to go to body shop in 3 weeks to match front end. nothing fwd, and no lexus sc models.

8K cash as it sits, 10K cash front end painted, seats repairs, antenna replaced, trade value 9k/11K and this is very fair. I am also going to have it aligned, and inspected next week.

This is is wild, price new was more than a corvette convertible, and more more horsepower than the Vette and mustang GT. While standard celicas were 11-14K this had a price tag of mid 30's with the system 10 package.

Some cool videos about the history of this car, to note the limited production numbers were to meet the requirement of the WRC to complete, and they did so with a huge winning history 1990-1992-1993-1994. Of the 26000 made 11K were for Japanese Market, 9K were for Europe market, 2500 for North America, 2500 for Australia and NZ, and 1k for other areas including the Middle-east. The exact WRC number was 26K and 26K was all they made.

From another all trac owner, good luck, looks like you've got a lot of work into this with a lot of nice parts. Too bad most people don't know how awesome these are.

This is a cheaper build for me. Kinda keeping it simple stupid. I just mounted up some gauges and started prepping for the EBC install. Chances are I'll keep it a while unless I get a good trade offer. As hard to come by as these are it's pretty small for me, and is kinda ehh. I am used to RWD torque monsters, and rather play with one of those. Some days I look at this and think, gut it, cage it, go autocross the piss out of it. But I would need to really address making buckets sit on the floor because the roof and cage would be an issue.

Front wheel bearings replaces as well as inner & outer tie rods, and front and rear sway bar links. Also installed rear camber bolts..... all parts are moog including bolts.

Alignment over the weekend. Then next stop is the body shop for full front end job. Fender liners will go in once it's painted. No need to have them in just to pull them out.
