yuck.
i'm not really into to SUV's/Trucks being driven in the city. thats what cars are for.
but if i had to drive one, this would be the one
2002 Escalade with B & B Performance Exhaust (http://bbtriflo.com/av/2002Escalade.html)
but i'd rather drive a car, preferably one of these:
2001 Porsche 996 Twin Turbo with B & B Performance Exhaust, GT Version (http://www.bbtriflo.com/av/2001PORSCHE996.html)
2000 BMW M5 with B & B Performance Exhaust (http://www.bbtriflo.com/av/2000BMWM5.html)

I wouldn't be driving in the city with that one, that is a dosomecrazyshitmoblie. I mean that thing could haul ass.

ahhh, its a "dosomecrazyshitmobile"
of course. best off roaders are rovers, but they're but ugly, have a piece of shit 40 year old engine, too much electronic crap, and have crappy resale. JD power & associates ranked the Range Rover 164 out of 183 of all cars tested. #### british electronics. maybe the new BMW powered rover will be better.

That Lambo Rhino (Another name for them) will run 100+mph EASILY....In SAND!!!!!! Screw HUMVEE's....Either a Lambo Rhino or a Merc G-Wagen...More acceptable of a price range would be a Range Rover 4.6HSE though...:)

for sure!!! a 959 won the Paris-Dakar Rally
The Lambo SUV was designed for the Italian military, the original one(I think) was the LM004 which is a convertible version, then it was the LM002. It is an awsome off road vehicle.

Actually not way too expensive for what you're getting a few months back i saw one go for about 55,000 on ebay, it would be a bad ass sand racer <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'> And please people, do not compare porsches to this thing, remember it's for offroad and almost weights 3 tons! hehe

i'd love one of those new toyota sequioa's, one on dubs and bags, with like 4 10"s and tv's and dvd players, playerstation 2 and what not. it'd be a very nice daily driver, except for all of the gas costs, but toyota's sequoia and tundra are pretty good about that, for v8's. i like toyota's approach to v8's much more than all of the big american ones. all aluminum DOHC small block v8, alot like just a big version of their 4 and 6 cyls, as opposed to a huge pushrod gas gussling torquemonster.
not to mention toyotas new trucks and SUV's look so much better than anything america has to offer. its only a matter of time before nissan jumps into the full sized SUV market, if toyota does well. of course i dont really approve of big SUV's, but they're ok as long as they're not driven by idiots and soccermoms. they should either be used for what they were originally intended, unless they're sitting on dubs in which case they're just trying to be pimp <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'>

To me, SUVs are just another road block. I'm on the "tax the #### out of SUVs for their social cost" bandwagon. (you didn't know there was one of those did you?) 1) they pollute too much, 2) they kill people in passenger cars in accidents, 3) they are unsafe to drive behind or beside (b/c you can't see through their fenders), 4) they take up too much parking area, etc (trust me, this could go on). All those soccer moms and single guys who just *have* to have a truck should not be able to stick us car owners with the burdens for this stuff. Just think - if it weren't for SUVs, pollution wouldn't be as bad and cars wouldn't be as heavily regulated for emissions! OBDII wouldn't exist! And all our insurance bills would drop a bit. BAN 'EM, I say!
I just don't understand the fascination w/ these things. Offroad? - move to Idaho and buy a Jeep (or a hardbody like chiken).

Well...I do agree with you in some ways...Crap like the Ford Excursion (Excretion more like it) and Navigator, and all these other super huge SUV's are just stupidly ridiculous. Even Hummer's really aren't that great. The way I see it, there should only be 3 types of SUV's. G-Wagens, Rhinos, and Land Rovers. All of these vehicles CAN and WILL take a beating off road, not like these sissy ass Blazers and Expeditions and crap like that. If I buy and SUV it will be a Range Rover, or a Defender 90 or 110 if I can find one! By the way...Jeeps suck ass...:)
