so i just finished my 5 lug conversion last night.. the rear has been on for about a week no issues perfect fitment the whole 9 just need to get it aligned. the front on the other hand is where my issues are happening.. i used a complete S14 knuckle with brakes off of my buddies R34 that he had in japan already had brake lines and everything ready go just had to swap that whole assembly out, project started great put my S14 ball joints in my S13 LCA's, while i was at it i threw on some new godspeed tension rods and bolted everything back up bled the brakes and mounted the wheels. i am running 17x9.5 +15 MB Battles w/ 245 40 R17 Federal 595's now i've searched all over zilvia and other forums before i blew 1700 bucks on 2 sets of wheels people are running those with no fitment issues.. when i mounted the driver side wheel and torqued it down it doesnt rub but sticks out past the fender a good inch whatever lol passenger side mounted and torqued sucked up tight against the coil and wont spin, search some more and read that i can adjust the camber out where the knuckle bolts to the coil so i do so now the wheel spins freely but the tire is just barely touching the spring.. it is driveable i so i drove like that a little around town no problems no wearing on the tire so i drove about 100 miles and it seemed fine still but i'm not okay with it.. i do have 5mm spacers i can put on and after everything settled both sides stick out past the fender about 1/4 to 1/2 an inch. i have not got it aligned yet my appointment at Fontana Nissan is next week idk if that will take care of my problem or if i need to do something else.. i'm out of ideas and i'm not finding anything else online so any input or suggestions would be greatly appreciated and i do apologize for typing a freakin book....

here's a couple pictures that i took today before driving it, i do have a few pictures that i took during the swap if anyone wants to see them let me know and i'll post them

^ Both correct. Stretch tires with fender roll and adjust camber. Spacer if the stretch doesn't work with tire rub

i'm trying to avoid spacers because they are already past my fenders.. i just dont understand why its rubbing on one side and not the other

Are you using S13 coilovers and 12mm bolts on your S14 knuckles?

If so, there's a lot of room for the lower mount of the coilover and the knuckle to wiggle, since the S14 knuckle and shock mount use a larger bolt. S13 is 12mm and S14 is 14mm IIRC. I understand some company makes the inserts to use S14 knuckles with coilovers made for an S13.

But when you tightened them together, they probably weren't sitting the same, side to side.

If you have S14 shock mounts or have drilled out your S13 shock mounts to use S14 bolts or are using inserts, disregard this post.

No i didn't know about that at all.. Thanks for the info I'll be looking for S14 bolts now and drill out the holes on the mount
