I saw some of their videos a long time ago, and couldn't figure out exactly what they were doing. It looked like a lot of fun though. I wonder how one gets started in this?

I'm sure they get injured now and then, but they've trained on how to dive and roll. I'm sure they're so used to it, they can avoid injury by properly timing their landing and rolling to distribute the energy in such a fall.
