I'm kind of stuck with my build and looking for some advice, possibly better than I've received already .. I have a 97 that was in a front end crash (no bumper/crash bar, just FMIC at the time). The right side apron and radiator support was crushed up a bit.

This is where I'm at now, 2 months later which I thought i'd already have the body stuff I wanted done and the car painted by now ugh:

I have the original Greddy front mount, and this other smaller mid-mount that my fabricator but the 90's off and welded these straight pipes to.

What would you do?? I'm thinking of scrapping the v-mount idea and using my Greddy. I think I can make more power with it and it'll be cheaper and easier to finish for my fabricator. I was going to have him flip it and recess it some so it's just behind the headlights.

I have a CF hood w/ aerocatch latches and a JDM front bumper, and +20 front fenders as seen in the pic.

Power Stuff:

gt2871r .86
Ryo tubular manifold
Tial MV-R
Tial Q
STi 550 yellow side feeds
AEM 3.5 BAR MAP
GM IAT
AEM Series 2 for S14 SR
full 3" exhaust, no cat, no resonator, only 1 muffler canister at the end

I Heard V mounts are more rocket science and physics involved.

sell the v-mount, move the rad as close to the engine as possible and flip greddy cooler - keep it simple

F it. If you just want it done, mount the front mount to the back of the crash bar and just do a normal front mount set up.

That's what I was thinking, thx
