So i tried a search but Zilvia hates me so whatever if there is a thread post a link please.....

on to the topic.

dose anyone know the the gear ratios for the s13 manual tranny and rear end are?

Also the difference in rear gears in the s13, s14, s15, 260, 280 and 300zx are?

Last but not least, is there difference rear gears in the base, se and verts? or a difference between the rear gears in the manual and auto?

this info is available but icouldnt tell you what thread.
Perhaps if you explain you goals we can tell you which rear end to swap in.

I found all this info in less than 4 minutes, at work, by using Google. Don't limit yourself just to this site, there are many other references to cite that will give you the info you're looking for. Onto the knowledge:

First link to come up after a Google search for "240sx final drive ratio":

The ultimate final drive gear ratio thread. : 240SX Technical Forum (http://forums.nicoclub.com/the-ultimate-final-drive-gear-ratio-thread-t228683.html)

First link in a Google search for "240sx transmission gear ratios":

Nissan 240SX Performance Modification/Transmission - Wikibooks, open books for an open world (http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Nissan_240SX_Performance_Modification/Transmission)

Second link down when Google searching "280z final drive ratio":

Transmission and Rear End Gear Ratios (http://www.zhome.com/ZCMnL/tech/GearRatios.html)

So, to answer your questions using the above information:

Base, SE, and Vert S-chassis all have the same final drive in the US. There may be a few very uncommon exceptions, but majority rules here. Gear ratios for trans and rear are above.

You're welcome.

Googling is never the best answer esp for this ...

it depends on the country mostly. I have a 3.9, standard, in my s13. And a 3.7 from an S15 helical. I was supposed to get a 4.1 but it does not fit in the S13 pumpkin, and i was tired to swap diffs, so kept my 3.9 .
