rear transmission seal install

hey how are u suppose to install a rear transmisson seal on a s14 sr20 transmission? do u need to lube the seal with oil first? any special tools?

hey how are u suppose to install a rear transmisson seal on a s14 sr20 transmission? do u need to lube the seal with oil first? any special tools?

Place the seal in the hole and lightly tap it in with the butt of a screwdriver making sure that it goes down as evenly as possible. No grease or lube required but it wouldn't hurt.
