Hello
Im selling my 1989 240sx and my SR20det. im selling my 240sx for $3000obo and my SR for $2000. I live in the Sacramento area
The 240 runs good the interior is great and the sr is awesome too.
BUT
The reason I am selling the 240 is because I got a state ref on the car. My intention was to fight state ref and I did but 80% down the road I just gave up and I just don't have time to work on it no more. I swap the SR to a single cam, the stock engine, paid the entire fine already and paid the registration fee because it took about a year to work on the car and I didn't have insurance, but now I do. So the only problem now with the 240sx is that there is a check engine light... -.- See I only have a straight 3 inch pipe on the car because of the sr, so every time I would try to go take it to smog test I had to exchange the exhaust with my friend stock exhaust, and every time I drive it to the smog test area, the check engine light would pop up right when I pull up. I ask the smog person to still check it and he said that, there is a misfire when I start it up, but that probably because of the timing. But If you use the Guaranteed pass smog fulid thing, it should stop the misfire because my cousin had the same issue and it solve it, and everything I had for the SR will be sold with the SR so everything is ready to swap if you buy the SR. The mileage is around 160k, I didn’t get to drive the single cam that’s why.

The bad:
No power steering on the single because my intention was to just pass smog and swap the SR back in.
My HID doesn’t work, I'm guessing its because I unplug one of the wires when I did the swap.
The body kit is bundle together with the car, the previous owner got it bundle -.- still looks tight.
