Well I'm currently in texas and ehh I'm tired of this place. My gf just got a scholarship to unlv so im thinking of moving out there but how is the car scene out there? Cops strict? Lots of events?

I grew up in Vegas and got my s13 out there. The car scene is pretty good. Cops are all right, definitely not as bad as California. Not sure how smog compared to Texas, but it's not too bad in Nevada, I always pass with my KA.
There's meets on Flamingo and Durango in a shopping center every Wednesday Night and it's full of mostly imports. There's a fuku burger truck that parks there and sells really good burgers too.
There's another meet on Thursday nights, but they move around. Sometimes it's in Chinatown, sometimes it's in a parking lot around Chinatown but it's always chill.
Plus there is U-drift in Vegas which is basically a drift arena where you can rent 240's to drift or drift your own on their track. There's also a couple of big car shows a couple of time a year like the SEMA show.
Hope this helps.
