We just completed our S15 front end conversion on an S13. The Masa fenders were the best, however they still took a LOT of work to get on proplerly and to look right. The body shop would have been just as unhappy with the crappy Import Fan fenders. I went through 3 sets of fenders to find the best fitting ones. I ended with the MASA, but after talking with the body shop I would have spent the same amount of money at the body shop. I have an extra set of the Import Fan ones if you want to get them and take them to you body shop.
It is a lot of work and a lot of $$, but deffinately worth it. good luck.

Here let me show you why not to go with GTP/VIS this will help you out a lot. If you go with the MASA that would be a very wise investment!!! You wont have to worry about paying extra at the body shop to refabricate that shiet and make it fit (and it will cost you a lot extra). If you are going with the MASA for S14 make sure you order them now if you want them by the end of the year! I ordered mine in December and still havent gotten them :hyper: Anyways here are the reasons not to do GTP/VIS............

well , I am looking into some conversion fenders out here called S.W.A.T.T.s and I am in the process of trying to put together a group buy for them. I have seen pics of the fit and they look pretty damn good and they come with the headlight brackets.
ahhhhhh s14sxman...those pics hurt to look at....i think umma go w/ the masa fenders....do you know if ther anyother places sellin them chaper then jspec.com?

I'm not sure, a lot of places haven't even heard of MASA. I say just go with jspec because they are very good at getting a hold of these japan only goods and are very trustworthy. Before i bought mine from them i searched around and came up empty.
what do you think about the S.W.A.T.T fenders?

^^^I never heard of those maybe they are new, i would say your other option is West Yokohama. And never listen to someone if they say they have good fittment and the pics of the great fittment is from the manufacturer. The GTP pic is perfect on their website but as you can see the actual product is far from that.

I say get a nice high quality bumper! I love my OEM S15 front bumper, you can't beat OEM quality. GTP altogether is not known for the best fittment. Its hard to tell what the problem is with GTP fenders and bumper but notice how the edges were the bumper meets the fender are cut off and not straight. Also it didn't line up with the bottem of the headlights very well either the edges are very cut off. Here is a pic of my old GTP bumper :ugh: ....................
can you show us pics of your current car w/ the oem s15 front bumper...

METAL fenders. hybrid of s14 95-96 fenders and real s15 fenders.. (welded)... done by a local body shop here.. in San Diego, CA
(if you had a 97-98 fender to s15 fitment might be even better).
eh umma just go w/ the masa's...

I think the pictures that Grant posted show how good the conversion can look if it is done correctly....I would personally do that hybrid fender deal myself. Good luck with the conversions guys :bigok:

what's the deal with the sidemarker spot on Masa fenders? Where do you obtain the sidemarker light? How much?
** I'm no assuming that i would be in need of something along these lines

You can't just "grab" a set of these fenders. You need to come up on S14 fenders, which shouldn't be too hard, and you also need a set of OEM S15 fenders. Then you need to take both sets of fenders and your car to the body shop down here (or any other shop that's willing to do this for you) and leave your car there while they work on it. This is what makes the fitment so close to perfect, the fact that they build the fenders around your car.

My car has the Cwings/GTP new Masa vented copy fenders on it, and everything fit awesome. They will be released to the public on June 1. MSRP pricing is $399/pair I believe.
Their OEM Style Conversion fenders (ones that gave them the bad rep) are not the best fitment, I can attest to that. They are going to require lots of work.
But, perhaps you may want to give their new fenders a look, they seemed to do a pretty good copy this time around.
