Ok i have an ebay auction going on for some high end bose audio equipment, I have recieved an e-mail from a buyer that is willing to purchase, but he can only pay by credit card. And he says that his paypal acct is all messed up and locked because someone got his info or something like that.

So my question is how can i accept a payment from someone by a credit card. I do not have my own company or anything like that, Is there anyway i can recieve his money? Or am i just going to have to wait for someone else to buy it?

BTW-It is a big sale about 3g's with shipping.

Thanks

I can't think of a way for you to accept credit card directly from a buyer, or at least it wouldn't be worthwhile.

www.neteller.com (or make another paypal account)

^^ Same service as paypal, make sure he adds alittle extra for what ever percentage they charge for transfers.

you can accept his card but it's suggested that you shouldn't. i don't think paypal will accept any thing over 500....at least not on mine. a charge back will be very harsh on you if you lose out on that 3g. let me put it this way as an example......let's say you accept his payment of creditcard. you ship it out to him once you get authorization, he receives it or someone in his family receives it, they sign funny or differently than they normally do....he does a charge back and you will lose out easily because his sig doesn't match or two, it's not his card. i think that's hes either pulling your leg or he's trying to make an excuse for not taking the item. i could be wrong though........btw how many people do you know can accept creditcard payments without a processing company for creditcards??? and how do you accept his creditcard payment.....

oh yea....bidpay.com....they can do the samething as paypal

this sounds like the start of a zilvia member losing 3g's....Tell him to send you a bank check if he wants to pay.

3g's would be worth taking escrow out on imo.

well i have decided not to accept his money, its just not a good idea as you guys are saying. I am only accepting direct transfers such as debit cards and stuff like that.
