are there any possibilities on adding anything or fixing anything to lower the volume of the outside noise from the inside? i want it to be as quiet in the inside as the new cars out there. or is it not possible? get what i'm asking?

smaller tires or jsut better tires with better/new suspension might help

After i put on new tires and new shocks and springs the car was a bit quieter

Buy some dynomat.. sound deadening material that can cover your door panels and trunk area.. they also sell it in a spray form as noise killer. It'll prob never be as quiet as a newer car though because the windows/doors/hatch don't seal as well.

Tires help a lot too.. bah, just buy a luxury car.

agreed with ninjagaiden - you'll never get it as quiet, due to the poor sealing of windows, doors, hatc, etc etc.
The best you can do (as far as I can think of) is to get some dynamat (or equivelant) and pad up the car, and then get some 195/65/15 (assuming OE wheels) Yokohama AVS-DB and some nice cushy springs/shocks. You will also want some of that sound deadening foam that you spray into the hollow parts of the body, mainly between the outer shell and the interior.

With all this, though, you'll definitely be losing performance: LOTS of added weight, soft(er) springs/dampening, and touring/all-season tires.
