You should try to stick to quality brands like Godspeed and Megan. Emusa or cxracing are always extremely reliable choices as well.

Say what!?! quality brands?? reliable??? really really!?! Godspeed, Megan!?!:facepalm:
OP, give them a good inspection, if they are no leaks or damp areas, you should be good, those two brands that he's selling are good brands. If you're looking for a quick fix, this is the way to go, or just save up and get some PBM's!!!!
look at how abused they are.
if they look like complete trash, you're better off going with megans or isis. and you'll also have a matching set of coils.

Another great idea here too OP! F that name brand proven crap! The damping on Megan's is where it's at.

But in all seriousness OP is looking to buy a set of used coils for 450$
granted if those coils are in good shape you should hop on them,
but if not users are just stating you could get some BNIB megans, Isis, Godspeed around the same price
yes they are a lower quality coil but that doesn't mean they are complete crap. They are a quality made part for the price range OP is looking to spend in.
Personally I believe you will never find a BNIB quality coilover for any thing under 5-600$ But that's just opinion. Op I'd save up and buy something new that will last you the user longer and won't have to spend money twice because the first set went bad.. my .02 cents

Settling for $450 lightly used-lower brand stuff like ISIS, Godspeed, Megan, EMUSA, etc will be about the same as $450 abused-high miles known brand stuff, if it's not blown or seized. I would strongly suggest against "just inspecting" the coilovers. That won't give you an accurate assessment of how long they will last for you. And by it slaps you in the face, you're going to dish out more money on getting them rebuilt or replaced. And are you really going to trust a guy that you don't know to sell you "4,500 mile" coilovers for $450?
Point is you will receive what you pay for. Unless the seller is legit and desperate for a quick sale that he/she sells you coilovers with low miles of use--that's about the only exception. Save up, it'll be worth your investment to know and be assured that the dampers won't blow the next time you abuse them.

Get some racelands, I hear those are pretty awesome. And since you're probably just another stance nutswinger quality shouldn't matter to you. Just rock whatever you can so long as your shit rubs tires and scrapes driveways amirite?

^^^ i second this. When i bought my car it had these bad boys. Rode so well that when i hit a bump on the fwy @60ish the collars broke and my back end bounced and drifted into the other lane... so badass. Coilovers, auto drifting, and hydraulics in one.

Most of these people know what they're talking about - but I'd definitely go with those blue collar ones above, or the cheaper racelands. They ride nice, a lot of the formula D people use them as well.
