Please stop arguing and bickering in open topics. They will be locked and possibly deleted. We all used to get along and talk about cars, and occasionally joke around. I don't realize what's going on these days.

I've deleted a few topics already, locked more. I don't think we should have to go through that.

I also don't agree with people posting about how many posts they have.  There are so many people here with good information, and many of the threads are very informative and interesting, then you get somebody who says in the middle of the thread "wow!  Look at how many posts I have!"  I don't even see that kind of stuff on Fresh Alloy.  I don't know what's been going on for everybody in the past month, but this kind of stuff never used to happen--arguments, insults, and post wars.  I like all of you very much--you've all helped me tremendously with my car, but some people do need to grow up and realize that we're responsible enough to own cars--we don't need to have junior high fights.

Mark and Moderators--you all are doing a GREAT job keeping this forum clean and organized.  Thank you.

I have one gripe
Ever since I got my 240 and found out about zilvia.net
this is probably the most important place place for me to visit.  I don't go to chats anymore because this IS CHAT.
I don't think we have to talk about cars every single second.  This is about fun and so what if a few people argue, that is life, people argue all the time, no need to have such a boring place.  Listen, if I wanted to learn about instalation and such, I would go to the tech forum.  This is the chat forum, it doesnt say that you have to just talk about cars.  I mean, I spend at least 2-3 hours everytime I coem here. But if all we do is just talk about sr20det swaps and headlights and shit, I'd be the first to find a better place.  I love this place but come on, why does it have to be censored to the point where we are afraid to speek freely?  
So what if there is some kind of racial issue, some of us live in parts of the US or the globe where there is only white people, so maybe they need to learn.
point is, people need freedom of speech, no need to delete anythign or everything that has a lil questionable material in it.

why'd someone delete my post from here? i do agree that the forum has had some stupid problems that r a waste of time to read, but all i said is basically sh*t happens so it's nothing to get mad about. hopefully this problem will be over w/ once chat is up n running on here so everybody doesn't have to see every topic getting off topic all the time.

That's not the point. Every forum has it's bickering, as did zilvia even in the beginning. The thing is, it's just been getting out of hand lately. Some downright shitty things have been said; types of things just don't belong here.

I don't think that this forum is badly censored. The only threads that have been locked or deleted were getting out of hand. When the bickering gets personal, and people get seriously offended, the thread is closed. If you wish to continue fighting that badly then do it over AIM or ICQ.

If you really have to be afraid that you're crossing the line all the time, then maybe censorship on this forum isn't your biggest concern.

How about this idea......Mark, can you set up a "general chat" section??? If it doesnt pertain to the 240 or a related car (like the Skyline, which I greatly enjoy reading posts about!) then post in "general". Those of you that dont like the "chat".....dont go to "general". I sometimes dont like the "chat", but I sift it out and move on. Remember.....this is JUST a suggestion, not something to bicker about. Moderators?

I think it would be good to have a lounge so to speak, but I also feel that a lot of you are missing the point. Sure chatting is great, but even there, it still should get to the point where there are harmful personal insults, etc. Also, I don't think that we're concerned so much with just a solitary incident, as much as the entire mentality of the board seems to be changing a bit, which is understandable due to the growing size of it. If you get 650 people together, you're going to have some arguements. That's ok, as long as it doesn't get to the point where everyone is just pissed off at each othre all the time. I've seen a few posts from people who were just trolling for flames though. That is the type of thing that shouldn't be on the board.

Thats why i left the &quot;nike&quot; post open. I did'nt want it closed cause I think you guys can solve your own problems.
