I'm looking in to getting an English bulldog puppy. Haven't owned a dog in like 4-5 years
What should I look for or ask the breeders.

All I'll say is; If you can get freaking pet insurance, do it! Progressive and Allstate does it and it's worth it.

I've always had boxers and never had pet insurance. Never had dog problems till my last male got cancer. But it was so bad after the first surgery to remove it that we had to put him down. If you care for them I don't think you need insurance

I've had two Bulldogs, and they both have repertory issues. This is very common with them and they now require pretty pricey medication. Not to mention the emergency visits they've had to have... I'd rather pay the sub $20 a month of added insurance.

I care for them very much. The youngest is Bully's brother (Mississippi State University mascot).

I love those dogs. But yes if I had one of those I'd get insurance, Too many health problems. I've always loved bull dogs but we've always been a boxer family

My current baby. I think she was 7 months in this picture

And this the male I'm looking at. I'm really picky with my males and not 100% on this one yet. I've been looking for a male for nine months http://i609.photobucket.com/albums/tt179/malachi_is_supa_raw_yo/F9F3A4F9-CC46-4622-89C6-030B6857C6BD-10362-000005A5E0F59725-1.jpg

My mom won't allow big dogs at the house because
I have a 3yr old brother..she wanted to get them Ugly hairy small dogs.
I told her I would buy a bulldog instead.

How expensive are those vet bills y'all talk about...

They are expensive dogs, lots of health problems and just buying one alone cost a lot
