I just discovered that my 02 sensor has been unplugged for a while now(apparently,I know when it was unplugged,I just didn't know it was left that way) and since it was unplugged,I've been getting hella better gas mileage....and when I saw it wasn't plugged in,of course I plugged it in...and the car wouldn't idle (jump down in RPMs back up,then down...etc.) Does this just mean I have a bad o2 sensor? How bad it is to drive without one(The only way the car runs right is if its unhooked:(!)
I need imput ASAP b/c I'm driving my car ALOT to rehearsals wich are 45 minutes(1 way) away....thanks

Well, if you don't want to just buy a new O2 sensor I guess it can't hurt to run without it as long as it's been going fine so far. :ughd: :) Although it might hurt ya if and when you have to get your car smogged.

well....my thoughts would be it'll run even better with a new one than no one? I know I'm an idiot about this, lol but I don't want to loose that gas mileage(damned gas prices) or mess up my KA

Then why don't you just get a new O2 sensor then? :)
Hell if you want to just pay for shipping you can have the old O2 sensor from my '93 KA with 77k miles on it. It worked when I took it out. :D
