phase2motortrend also sells this piecee. i was wondering the same thing as you. i want to run my blitz nurspec in my car, but its n/a and running the turbo exhaust on an n/a car will be redicously loud. i planneed on this jic piece, but decided to wait. exhaust is not top priority. dont have 400 to just throw out for the jic noisee supression kit.

I have the one from Apexi, ECV. Same basic thing but mine is a cable system instead of a motor. Works readlly good. when put at the max the car sounds stock if you don't go over 3K RPM.

the first one is easier to install...
be warned it pushes back your exhaust about 1 cm, and can cause fitment problems with your exhaust. I know I did and I have the JIC bullet (old school S14)

the second one. I think if you had it welded into your exhaust, it would be a lot cleaner.

Seriously, you could cut your exhaust and weld those things in without any worries about clearance.
