Ok so I've searched and searched and I can't find any info that matches what I have. Here is my problem I have a s1 rb25 and a wiring specialties rb to s14 harness I have hooked everything up and instill have no spark. I have a feeling it's the ignitor but everything that I see online says that the ignitor is 6 wires on the harness side and 7 on the coil pack side and mine is different. I have 7 on the harness side and 6 on the coil side. There is also an extra plug on the coil harness that has 2 wires. Pic is attached

How are u checking for spark?

Grounding the plug against the block

Open up the ecu and look REALLY good for burn marks or broken pieces. Also smell for a burnt sensation as well. Make sure u check both sides of the ecu.

Ok I will check that

Pulled ecu checked both sides nothing looks burned or smells funny. I also tried another ecu and still nothing.

have you checked the coil packs for power?

Hmm for some reason it seems like your not getting any power to the coils. If I were u, I would take a multimeter and check each plug on the coilpack harness to see if your getting power to them. That way if you do have power going through them, then u know its the coilpacks themselves.

Also do u think theres a chance you have a wrong ignitor? Sense u said it has 6 on the coil side and 7 wires on the harness side? I have a s2 rb25 so I dont know much about those ignitors

I could have the wrong igniter I bought it on eBay so it very well could be the wrong one. I'm at the point where I'm willing to do the grand national coil setup.

Well thats always an option too but it could just be a bad or wrong ignitor

Cas is good I get injector pulses when I turn it

power to coils? white thick wire (middle one in each coil plug) should have constant batt voltage when key in "on"
eccs relay and ign relay turn on? (both green beside ecu)
don't forget to ground the small black wire comming off the coilpack loom on the valve cover near the ignitor

Back form the dead. Ok I have power going to the white middle wire. I only have 1 relay next to the ecu and it is good. All 6 coils check out ok. So I'm thinking its the ignitor is there any way to check at the coil plugs to see if the ignitor is working?

yea, do you have an oscilloscope?

That I do not

then no not even with a good meter like my Fluke 187, you need a scope.
