hey guys i need your opinion on this. just last night my mom offered to buy me some seats for my car, considering im young and low on cash i took the deal. however, she wanted 2 buy me some seats to save my back. i got a really bad back and my jobs requires lots of driving. so im askin wuts the most comfortable brand out there. im about 5' 10" and 155 lbs. so far ive only sat in the brix. they are comfy but im not 2 sure if a g a chair gona work out, so out of opinion and experience wut is a comfy chair to u?

some of the most comfy seats I've sat in were nicely broken in s14 leathers, they'd be much cheaper for ya if you can find them, and they bolt right in without raising you up 2" like most aftermarket seats do (due to the height of the bracket/slider if they're bottom mounted).

yea, the Brix is soooo awesome. definately expensive but id say worth the money. They actually sit you lower in the car, R&D at bride engineered them that way i guess. did you know they have memory foam as well? they actually mold to your butt (and back) so its a completely personalized seat.

I think the Brix is a little too hardcore for your bad back. I'm 5'11 165lb and my Brix is a tad too tight for me...for daily driving that is.

I recommend Recaro SRD, they're slightly roomier.

nahh man, the Brix is perfect, just get the recline right and the memory foam takes care of the rest. check this out http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&category=33701&item=2469442127&sspagename=STRK%3AMESSE%3AIT

I love my S14 seat, but go to a place that has the seats laying around, sit in them, and buy.

When I was in cali went to AutoBacs, got plenty of seats to test fit and found the perfect one for me. I am broke though, so I'll stick with my S14 seats. Get the ones with the lombar support :).

wow, even though his mom offering to get seats for him, you guys are sure recommending seats that is really freaking expensive, i'm pretty his mom face would have a surprise look if he decide to get a $700 seat.....

If you have a bad back, yet want a very confortable long drive/ performance type of seat. I myself suggest the Ergo Produced by Bride. I am a 6'4" kat at 165 lbs. I have searched (trust me) I plan on purchasing a soarer this upcoming, and either the ergos, Brix, and or a recline seat out of Recaro's archive will be my only choice, they sit low, to give head clearence for your helmet, in case of a flip accident, and leg's (in my case) of the steering wheel.

If you have bad back I would suggest getting a seat made for you. It doesn't cost as much as you think it might and you can get it made so you can safely sit in the car for long periods of time.
