Rb20det misfire!!!

Ok so i started having a misfire and smell of gas, and found out my coil pack was burnt up so i replaced it and it worked fine for about 2 weeks then it started doing the same thing. looked at the coil pac and it looks fine and i ordered a new coil pack harness. does anybody think it is something else? or do you think the harness will solve problem?

1st coil or another?

the coil are burning up cause tey are getting constant gnd signal

maybe wire harness was faulty, maybe there's something else like they are grounding by the metal housing on the bracket...

well i didnt find another coil burnt up but misfire and smell of gas returned.

how are your plugs? Did you replace them? How is your fuel pressure? should be at 42psi at idle with no vaccum on the fpr.

How is your Maf? Just because it was the coil before doesnt mean that is necessarily the case now.

Okay so changed out harness and did nothing could it be turbo blowing out spark? gap? or ignition? fuel pressers fine, and yes just changed plugs gapped them to .44, more leaning toward igniter chip.

Think i found problem it is grounding out between coil pack 1 and 2 there is a spark i can see and everytime it sparks it misfires at idol? any thoughts on how to fix that?

redo the wiring proper.

Just put a new coil pack harness in? I'm confused what you mean?
