Ok, the guy before put electric fans in, but are wired to a switch and powered straight off the battery. What is the best set-up for the electric fans? Damn wires everywhere.

theres different options to wire your e fan up.
just some offf the top of my head.
-DIF fan controller
-wire up to ignition
-wire up to a toggle switch

DIF: Expensive but about the best way.
Ignition: Always on.
Switch: You or someone else can forget to turn them on.
Flexalite style controller: Cheaper but most can only handle 20 amps so you will need to run a relay setup. Its pretty simple if you know electronics and a great deal cheaper then the DIF.

Cheapest option is running 2 relays and using a switched 12v as trigger. The fans will be on when the car is running and itll be off when the car is off. No need for a manual toggle switc, that you might forget to turn on/off and kill your battery.

That could end up costing him close to what it would cost to wire up the fans right with some of the more expensive options depending on whether or not he has access to junk yards.

There used to be a awesome Pick and Pull up in Fort Hood, Tx when I was stationed up there. I've been back in Houston for awhile and haven't really to have time to search yet. There are some parts I need.

I keep thinking about it, till I can get a good set for the elec. fan.

Honestly, if you have your AC, nothing beats the stock fan and shroud from my experience.
