Time for a more family-friendly ride for me so this needs a new home. I bought this car bone stock and very clean three and a half years ago. It has no significant dents and no rust whatsoever. I have done all of the mods myself. I build vintage race cars for a living, so it has been done right, if on a budget.
Here are the specs:
1990 Miata, originally equipped with P/S, A/C, and VLSD.
A/C has been completely removed, heater remains fully functional.
P/S has been properly converted to manual as per Flyin' Miata instructions.
HardDog Sport Rollbar
Located in Escondido, CA.
188xxx Mi.
Engine:
Freshened engine installed 6 months ago when I built the turbo setup. Before installation I resealed the bottom end, including pan, rear main, and front crank seals. The oil drain return was drilled with the pan removed from the engine. I also installed a new timing belt, oil pump, water pump, tensioner, and valve cover gaskets. I also did a coolant re-route on it, works great. I installed a new copper radiator in the car approx 2 years ago.
DSM t25g turbo
Evo8 intercooler
DSM bov (recirculated)
SS 2.5" Downpipe
2.5" Mandrel exhaust
ACT Prolite Flywheel
ACT Stage 2 sprung clutch
270cc RC injectors
Vortech FMU
MSD Sebring timing unit
Olderguy o2 clamp.
Walbro 190 Fuel Pump
Autometer Vac/Boost and Oil Pressure Gauges.
Suspension/Brakes (Freshly installed within 2k mi.)
Koni Sport Shocks
Ground Control Sleeves
Eibach Springs
NB Top Hats
FCM Mounts and Bumpstops
Hawk HPS Pads
Slotted Rotors
Wheels/Tires
Rare and unique 13x7 +0 American Racing Libres. I looked for a set of these in 4x100 for years before coming across this set. I restored them and they lend a great, unique look to the car (I think anyway).
205/60/13 Toyo RA1 tires. These are basically new but have been shaved (take-offs from a customer's race car that never got used). They drive great and still have plenty of life in them. The car has been freshly aligned.
That's about all I can think of. I daily drive this car and have no complaints. It averages 26-27 mpg for me on my commute and I got 35 mpg driving it up to Willow Springs a couple of months ago. The car drives like it was a factory turbo setup at 8 psi. I still have all of the factory exhaust (including cat), intake, etc. necessary to pass smog. It's probably a 3-4 hour job to r&r everything so it can pass. Everything is included along with all of my spare miata parts.
Asking $5200 OBO. Time for 4 doors...
Here are the pics. A few were taken previously when it had other wheels on it. The one's with the Libres installed are current.
