View Full Version : cluster mph doesn't go down when driving??

so this is kinda funny..
this past weekend, i was driving on the freeway going 70-80 when i noticed my mph gauge was way past the limit. looked like i was going 130 or something.
when i would slow down, the gauge wouldn't go down.
i'd have to turn off the car and it'll go back to 0.
when i start the car again, it'll slowly creepy back up until it hits the limit again.

so anybody know what the issue is with this? bad cluster? speed sensor?

still having this problem. last night i was going 30mph...parked. LOL xD

and this morning going to work i was going 120mph...in bumper to bumper traffic~

..it's a little entertaining..but probably should get it fixed. loll

lol, it does seem entertaining..Now you can tell people you went 30mph when you were parked :D
As for a suggestion, maybe try replace your speed sensor?

loll i do that with my friends while the cars warming up.
"shit's so fast, i hit 30 in Park!" lol

just wanted to update this.
i changed the speedometer gauge from another cluster...problem fixed.
