its the black one which i believe is the base model but i dont think it matters

Of course it matters. If you have an SE and get a base model amp, you can say goodbye to you adjustable intermittent wiper function.

i have a 97 kouki, accidentally sold the amp when i got rid of the motor so all i know was it was black so it was the base model
