found this in my pan engine was supposed to only have 3200 miles, kid dropped it in neutral from 5th gear let out clutch, i traded my 89 5.0 for 240 always wanted one . Just pulled engine thanksgiving week taking it all apart this week end .you tube vid is the noise engine made i never heard anything like it.

Do you have an oil pressure gauge just to eliminate oiling issue off the bat? If not, get now, NOW!!! If its not an oil pressure issue and you have good pressure, lift the head and make sure you have oil circulating all the way to the head.

i do not have one i was going to put one in when i get the engine put back in i got it on blocks borrowing a stand tomorrow so i can see what is wrong but thanks for advice i will be getting one.
