i have a 92 vert with 137k miles on it. i can cold start it and it runs good but after about 5 minutes it developes a bog, it is between 3-5k it fluctuates . the car was an auto and we 5 speed swapped it , it still has the auto ecu , i have put in a new fuel pump, new fuel filter, new plugs, the mafs looks brand new its the original tho. i have searched all evening and i have no clue, i was thinking maybe knock sensor but dont they only pull timing up to 4k? would a coolant temp sensor cause a 3-5k bog? and i cant rev past the bog, its kind of like a limiter in every gear and neutral. i plan on swapping the car but really wanted to dog the ka out in the snow lol, thanks for any input guys.

its cool guys, thanks for the responses..... i brought a meter home from work and checked all sensors....they are all good. the pump obviously works or the car wouldnt start or run.....but when the car reaches operating temp it would bog, it just so happens by the time the car reaches operating temp the pump was also heating up and malfunctioning...so dont let the temperature changes and bogging when its warm throw you off. IT WAS THE FUEL PUMP. i replaced it and she runs like a champ again. thanks i hope someone gets the info they need off this.
