93 cobra 60k miles on motor
Port n Polished GT40 heads
Port n Polished cobra intake mani
E303 cam
Harness is full wire tucked
Has powering steering pump included
Hand polished valve covers
Geared transmission but 3rd is out

Just wondering if this is worth the asking price of 1100?

sounds like a solid motor, if you can see it running in the car and drive it.
if so id say offer them 8-900 cash.

Id love to find something like that to put in the 68 fastback. fuckin cali dealz.

I always el oh el when I see a 5.0 listed as one out of a 93 cobra. Who would actually sell their long block out of a vehicle with a limited production run? I mean come on, you know it was probably from an explorer lol

idk man, with 3rd gear out it sounds like there might be something wrong with the transmission... :)

Why not? people pay close to 2k for a sr that's been beat to shit, sitting in a junkyard, torn out, tossed in a container, shipped around the world, douched with water, dragged around, supposed 60k and then slapped on a pallet for you.
Hell ya if its running go with 8-900 cash like said above^ find another t-5 for 200$ then u got a swap that can fry second lightly rolling into it.

More than likely with the GT40 intake...

Overextending the 2-3shift probably killed the transmission. Won't know how bad till you take it apart...

All the upgrades are sketch unless you know what you are looking at. $1100 is a joke...

Head down to the EZPull and buy an explorer motor for 150 bucks, and then buy an E cam off summit, call it a day.

GT40(p) Heads and intake came on 95-2001 Explorers and 93-95 Cobra's. Very easy to fake out a 95-96 Exploder motor to look like a Cobra.

Trust me when I say, I know :D

My first 'cars/trucks' were all 5.0 setups...man I missed how simple and fun they were. No power at all, but you could sit there off redline for ages smoking the tires off without any worry. I remember when we used to make special trips to the junkyard to scoop up Explorer top ends to resell on forums haha.
