I am rounding out all of the pieces for my 5 speeed swap and I need flywheel bolts. Before you ask, yes I know that I can get OEM flywheel bolts from Nissan and yes I know that ARP sells flywheel bolts but I work in auto parts and hardware and should be able to source whatever size and grade the bolts are. I did search and all I could find was one person that said that they were 7/16 which i know is wrong and another person said that they are M12x1.25 37mm long. That soundslike the correct size I am just wondering if someone can confirm this. Thanks in advance.

Flywheel bolts should always be replaced with new ones

Btw, they are m13x1.25 and I think 30 or 35mm long.. Good luck sourcing them..

Buy new oem ones. Seriously.
Nissan Genuine OEM 6-pt Replacement Engine Flywheel Bolt KA24E KA24DE (http://www.frsport.com/Nissan-Genuine-OEM-6-pt-Replacement-Engine-Flywheel-Bolt-KA24E-KA24DE_p_12643.html)
It angers me when people use hardware store items on things this critical...
Who knows maybe you are into this sort of thing.

You haven't looked around. Search for my thread that I started about flywheel bolts, I know I have the measurements in there.
I think ARP makes them also?

Om3ga, thanks. It's not that I like my car breaking down or that I like to cut corners, I just thought if I could get some bolts that would work through one of our suppliers I would. I didn't realize that they were so specific. It is looking like I will not be able to so I will purchase oem bolts. Thanks for the info everyone.
