Im selling my good ole loyal custom turbocharger i got tur garrett, thanks to the decision to make the car more of a street car than a trailor bitch. This turbo is perfect for a 450-550 whp ka turbo application and also good for an sr20det with the proper cams and rear end gearing. IM going long on the gears and aiming more for top speed racing so i dont need this turbo anymore. IM going wiht a gt series tubro.
anyways here is the rundown...
used on my car stock sr20det for approx 2 months straight, babyed and tuned hard for two days and tracked two days at nhra sport compact , only ran 17 psi of boost on here. Compressoer is 62-1 flowing 70lb/min highest volumetric yielding to4s series compressor wheel. Extremely powerful turbo, full spool up on sr20det by 4800 rpms and will make power past 9500 rpms if you really want to. the rear turbine wheel is a stage 5 exst. The centersection is garrett race bearing setup, oil cooled and lubricated with 1/8 " thread for inlet oil on the section with oil return on opposite side of section. The rear housing is ford 5 bolt standard pattern, with hole in housing for internal gate or custom rigged external , like i was runing. The turbo is in extremly good shape anyways here are the hard specs.
SPECS:
compressor housing : .60 ar to4e CH, m24
compressor modification: housing has been machine by garrett tech to fit.
compressor wheel: to4s based 62-1 compressor whee, similar to 56 trim gt wheel in inducer and exducer setup although moved more volume.
turbine housing: .63 ar garrett 5 bolt standard bolt up pattern. t3 flange
turbine wheel: stage 5 garrett high performance turbine wheel
inlet size on housing: 3 inch compressor housing inlet
compressor outlet: 2.25 inches on outlet diameter...
once again this turbo is a serious power maker, capable of over 500-600whp.
Very similar in design to the prescision series hybrid turbochargers however i go this one straight from a friend of a friend who i a garrett tech. I go the turbo for the neighborhood of 750 dollars, very hooked up, worth over 950+
