sr20 red top speed limit/rev limit

I was at the track the other day and i had the GPS hooked up. I top out at 110 in both 4th and 5th gear and that simply doesnt cut it on a long straight away. It sucks to see it cut out at 5k RPMs when my peak power is 5k-8k.

I cut the yellow/green wire. it still topped out at 110. the RPMs it stopped at was a little over 5k in 5th gear. In 4th gear it stops at 7k right where it begins to redline which is still only 110.

My car can get from 50-110 in about 7-8 seconds and its very sad to see all the potential being thrown away by a rev limiter or speed limiter.

I searched for hours. The only thing i found out was to cut the yellow wire with the green stripe from the ECU. and another person said it is the 4th/5th gear sensors that are hooked up to the transmission.

Where do i locate the gear sensors and how do i know which ones are which? if not is there any other way to remove the speed limit?

If I was trying to go faster than 200 in a corvette it would be a different story, but I'm trying to go faster than 110 because its pussy shit and its actually annoying as fuck that I can't even get from point a to point b if I need to go fast, without my car shooting fucking flames out of the exhaust and running like shit. If no ones gonna answer me, I'll just get it chipped and tuned add 70 horsepower then go 200 mph, and end up being disintegrated into a fireball for all I care.

Thats two different things, a loud exhaust is not gonna kill a Family of 4 coming back from vacation one night. Plus straight pipe exhausts are only illegal in some states. Excessively speeding is illegal in every state.

hitting something at 120 is not that much different than 200, shits gonna be fucked up and ppl will die. So its not that much different.
