Long story short, oil return line from the turbo somehow popped off and my oil ran low leading to a spun bearing. I've had oiling issues before and this isn't the first time I've had a spun bearing: I'm confident that's what has happened. I haven't pulled the oil pan off yet but my trained ears tell me it's just one journal so the other three rods will be good. I don't have a great place to work on it so that's why I haven't taken the time to pull the oilpan, but if you're serious I can assist in doing so.

I'm trying to sell the car as a whole right now for the convenience factor, but I will part out the bigger items if the offer is right. I have already sold exhaust manifold, downpipe, midpipe, and the injectors.

Obviously including the car, here's what would come with it if you wanted it all:

-DIYAutotune MSPNP2 Standalone ECU (Absolutely kickass ECU. You can do anything with it...if you don't know about it, look it up. Really an excellent ECU with great support from DIYAutotune)
-Holset HX35 7-blade turbo (Recently rebuilt with brand new compressor wheel and turbine shaft. Less than 10k miles on the turbo. Zero in/out shaftplay, minimal side-side shaftplay. Powdercoated reddish orange, a little ugly IMO but I saw past it)
-0.020" over CP pistons (Around 25k on these pistons or so. Retail $700 new, you can find them used for around $350)
-Forged Eagle rods (of course one is bad, but I'm confident that the other three are fine)
-Completely unused stage 2 cams (someone had them custom cut, sent them to me to review. Never got around to it but they are legit cams. Wish I got around to installing them)
-Big FMIC + hard pipes
-CX Racing radiator
-Spare S14 differential
-Uncracked dash

Car's body is in alright shape for a 22 year old car. I can send pictures of any of it no problem to email or to your phone. I'd love to sell the car this week. I will not pull the engine/trans but will cut a deal if you take the whole car. Everything I've listed here including a 12-pack of your choice can be yours for $2000 firm. The ECU alone is $800 new. The stage 2 cams are brand new and would cost you $250 today. The new compressor wheel, turbine shaft, and rebuild kit cost about $200 by itself.

My suggestion: buy the car, pull the engine apart. Trash the block and crank (block has been decked twice and is just tired). Call Eagle and order a new rod for $100, but get the others weighed so you can get one matched closely. Use the rods and pistons in your own block for a 600hp-capable bottom end. The HX35 will run out of breath at around 500hp, but that would still be a helluva fun ride. I hate to sell the project but I've got to move on.

I MIGHT trade it for something else. Gas-savers/motorcycles. Contact me for pictures/negotiations/offers.

Cheers, happy holidays.

Motivated seller. The holidays are coming up and the car is sitting in my driveway doing nothing. Clean title in hand. Has only seen the road (no drifting/circuit/etc) since I purchased it in the summer of 2010, taken to the drag strip once.

I'm interested. I'm between Seneca and Clemson, and would like to come look at the car. How much are you asking for the car?

Oh wow I forgot to list the prices. Best give me a text and we can talk about what you're after. Right now I'd like to get $2000 firm for everything including the ECU, cams, turbo, etc. $1500 without ECU but with the fresh built HX35 turbo, completely unused stage 2 cams still in the box, etc. $1000 for roller with the engine/trans in it. I won't sell the car without the engine/trans. No room to keep all that after selling the car.

I'm with family now in Greenville but the car is in downtown Pendleton. I'll be back tomorrow evening but it'll be dark; you can come see it any time before probably 5pm Saturday - I wouldn't recommend coming any later since that's the Clemson/USC game and traffic might be a nightmare.
