I searched around and what i could find on the problem im having. I replaced the bulbs in my dash to leds. That caused my hazard lights to start going whacky and then my car stop running completely. There was an aftermarket alarm put in that was could have been the problem but it was working fine until one day the car had no power to anything. The clock on the dash doesnt even work. Any suggestions on what the problem may be? Any help would greatly appreciated.

Check your fuse box.. See if your main fuses blew.
Also there's a white box behind the kick panel on the drivers side. This box controls interior lighting.. see if you blew the box. It wouldn't short the whole car but it would cause your interior lights to act funky / not work.

its not a dead battery. but im going to try and go through the main fuses to see if that's the problem. as far as the interior lights are concerned they dont work because im not getting power to anything.

On the positive batt. terminal theres something there next to the wire. I think it's a fuse but I never got to look at it.
Make sure its secure. Whenever I have problems with electrical current I hook up various terminals with my multi-meter to measure voltage. This way you can follow the power, and trace where there is none. This should lead you to your problem.
If you dont have a multimeter, go to the junkyard, go to any junk car and take/steal a headlight and the two wires it connects to, then wire one as your positive and one as negative... worked for me 'til I bought one :)

oh ok i will definitely try that out. I did test the battery with a volt meter and read 1.044 volts ;(. I just need to find out what drawing to much power because i swapped a battery from another car and got the same result. so let the tracing begin!!

Try this too..
if your car is in a quiet place, try to attach the battery terminals, and listen for a clicking sound.. this would tell you that for some reason, a relay is being activated. Next find which relay it is (Get a friend), you can tell because when it clicks it will vibrate slightly..
Hope this helped
